The CNBC commentator has blown several market calls his followers expected him to get right. Comedy Central host Jim Stewart has made a second career out of blasting Cramer in front of millions. And now, famed economist Nouriel Roubini is calling him a "buffoon."

Roubini recently had this to say about Cramer: "He's not a credible analyst. Every time it was a bear market rally he said it was the beginning of a bull and he got it wrong."

Cramer is a smart guy who has made some bad calls… but all this complaining about his advice is missing a much bigger point: Anyone expecting to get great investing advice from a mass market television show that bathes in advertising dollars from entrenched financial interests should have their head examined. CNBC is a financial entertainment channel... not a financial help channel.
