China gets a lot of press for its enormous and growing consumption of raw materials like copper, iron ore, and crude oil. So why not give it some press about its potential effect on the silver market?

The Chinese have loved silver for centuries. So it's no wonder the government is encouraging its citizens to buy the metal right now. It's being offered as an investment for the first time. It's an interesting development in the precious metal.
