Famed oilman T. Boone Pickens is on a crusade to get America's trucking fleet running on natural gas… instead of crude oil-based fuel.

Pickens' take is America has an incredible supply of natural gas in the ground… a supply equivalent to 700 billion barrels of oil… which is more than three times the stated oil reserves of Saudi Arabia.

While Pickens is known for his "marketing flair" and exaggerated numbers, there's no denying America has a whopping supply of natural gas we aren't using.
