A story in today's Wall Street Journal reveals a surprising fact: 40 out of the 100 most-delayed flights come and go from a single airport in Newark, New Jersey.

The article points to a number of potential reasons for the delays, but notes that the problems are unrelated to weather, and are actually getting worse this year despite fewer flights due to higher oil prices.

Our advice: Flying is bad enough these days... If you're planning a flight into or out of Newark, we'd consider other options.
