Major Texas homebuilder shuts doors

Irving, Texas based Choice Homes, which has been in business for 21 years, will discontinue operations because it can't obtain financing. The company is not, however, filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

The company built 580 homes last year, and 39,000 since opening its doors. It's the third, large Texas builder to close its doors during the credit crisis.
