We are neither Democrats nor Republicans here at The Crux. We actually laugh at those who think there's any difference between the two parties these days. Both promise change. Both smile kiss the babies. Both deliver more rules, wars, and taxes into our lives. Neither have any idea of the true principles our country was founded on.

Barack Obama's proposed new tax regime on those making more than $250,000 annually is the latest Washington swindle. As a Wall Street Journal columnist points out, it can't possibly make a dent in the budget deficit. It only punishes success and steals from the productive.

America is staggering under parasitic, government-crated burdens. And our new administration means well. But the simple, non-partisan truth is that it's stacking on more taxes and more debt at a terrible time. You asked for it America. You're going to get it good and hard.
