It's a hell of a thing for the New York Times to recommend a dedicated New York Democrat step down from a position because of ethics questions. But that's exactly what the Times did last year after studying possible tax fraud by Charles Rangel.

We'll let you decide if Rangel is worth the label many give him as "one of the most corrupt members of Congress." But you have to have a look see at his reaction to being called out on how he spends taxpayer money. Hint: it involves a taxpayer subsidized Cadillac.
