Writer Malcolm Gladwell is a national treasure. His first book, The Tipping Point, is one of the best marketing books ever written.

Reading his latest book Outliers on my Kindle II was one of the best reading experiences I've ever had... both are amazing products (buy the book here, Kindle here).

Gladwell's latest piece, featured in the New Yorker, is another excellent work. It's a lesson on how Davids regularly beat Goliaths... as long as they play by a certain set of rules. It's a set of rules that allowed Lawrence of Arabia to beat the Turks... and it made Rick Pitino one most successful basketball coaches of all time.
