An update on the worst, most destructive energy policy in the world: even the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is against corn-based ethanol now. Yet the lobbyist boondoggle continues.

The WSJ just published a good opinion piece on situation. Our favorite line:

As public policy, ethanol is like the joke about the baseball prospect who is a poor hitter but a bad fielder. It doesn't reduce CO2 but it does cost more. Imagine how many subsidies the Beltway would throw at ethanol if the fuel actually had any benefits.
