Iowa Senator Charles Grassley has done a lot of stupid stuff over the past years... stuff beyond the normal D.C. idiocy.
Two things that come to mind: 1)
Telling the Chinese to stop eating corn as part of his ridiculous defense of ethanol... and 2)
Telling financial executives on national television to commit suicide.
Grassley and his stupidity are in the news again this week. This time, Chuck criticized Barack Obama for sightseeing around Paris last weekend. But get this: Grassley used the text messaging service "Twitter" to send around his criticisms. The chief use of Twitter is for teenage girls to let each other know what time to meet at the mall.
Grassely: Grow up and be a man. If you have a problem with someone, do it the old fashioned Iowa way: Get drunk, hop in the pick up, drive to the guy's house, and start shouting obscenities on his lawn.
