Low-tax guru Art Laffer just wrote a piece for the WSJ on inflation. It should scare the hell out of everyone in America.

Laffer points out how the wild growth in the U.S. money supply has created a potentially explosive era of high interest rates and inflation. The "Crux" of the article:

"The percentage increase in the monetary base is the largest increase in the past 50 years by a factor of 10 (see chart nearby). It is so far outside the realm of our prior experiential base that historical comparisons are rendered difficult if not meaningless."
