U.S. gov't debt sales reach dangerous, record proportions

When talking U.S. debt, the number "$104 billion" doesn't mean much to most folks. After all, it usually takes "trillion" to impress anyone these days. 

But everyone needs to realize that yesterday's $104 billion debt sale is gigantic… a record amount of debt issuance that should make Americans sick. We're stacking up such a huge, unprecedented amount of debt that nobody knows exactly how the future will play out. One year ago, we were in "crazy" territory in terms of debt. What's happening now is "madness."
