Our friend Michael Covel made his name in the financial world by writing several fantastic books on trend following.

He's also spent a lot of time interviewing the world's top traders, analysts, and financial media personalities. Michael tried to get an interview with CNBC megastar Maria Bartiromo for his new movie "Broke: The New American Dream."

Maria initially agreed to the interview, but backed out. This short video explains why. CNBC has no interest in letting folks know how much of a "dog and pony show" they put on each day.
