Jeremy Grantham's favorite class of stocks right now

Blue chips good, China bad.

Those are the latest ideas from famed contrarian investor Jeremy Grantham. He noted in a recent letter to clients that high-quality blue chip stocks have been "trashed" on a relative basis by risky junk stocks in the past few months.

His firm, GMO, also believes China is "dangerously unbalanced and very likely to come unhinged in the next few quarters." Grantham fans will be interested to know there is a double-short China ETF with the symbol FXP.
