A dose of reality on global warming...

Famed Australian geology expert Ian Plimer spends a good deal of his time smashing the idea of "man made" global warming. Sure, the planet may be getting a bit warmer, but Ian points out that the world goes through huge cycles of warming and cooling... cycles mankind has no impact on.

Plimer has published over 60 academic papers and six books on the topic. His most recent book argues the belief in global warming has become a religion among "First World urban elites."

Think about it: Global warming has all the hallmarks of a religion. Most of its followers are intolerant of alternative beliefs... they spend a great deal of time and energy telling others what to do... they are easily manipulated by politicians... and they use shaky "facts" to justify their crusade.
