Marty Whitman literally wrote the book on distressed investing, and as head of value investing firm Third Avenue, he has made his investors a fortune buying undervalued equities and distressed debt.

In this interview with Value Investor Insight, Whitman discusses the unbelievable deals available in today's market and explains one of his favorite distressed debt investments - real estate developer Forest City Enterprises, which has a yield to maturity of 30%.
