By Daily Crux Editor Brian Hunt:

Shocker: The White House just revised the budget numbers it quoted to the country months ago. The country is going to get deeper into debt than previously "forecasted" by Obama's best and brightest.

Of course, as anyone who knows history can tell you, government "forecasts" are really government "fabrications and propaganda."

The U.S. government initially said Vietnam would be a small police action. It initially said the mortgage debacle would be small and manageable. It initially said the Iraq War would require less than 75,000 troops and less than $100 billion. All were subject to massive revisions… that consumed American lives and wealth.

Get ready to read lots more about "revisions" over the coming years. It's how America will go bankrupt. Our government - which has no real plan to reduce debt - issues phony forecasts and projections. The people buy them. Then reality sets in… the forecasts are "revised."

Our debt problem will be a slow-motion disaster just like Iraq: Full of BS projections, followed up by gruesome revisions and loss.
