Government outrage of the day: A recent video shows thousands of people gathered around a Detroit government office to pick up "stimulus money."

In other words, to pick up free money the earners of the country paid in taxes. Of special note is the woman who complains about how hard it is to stand in line in order to receive the free money.

Sure… things are tough in Detroit. But they're tough everywhere. Handing out free money only encourages folks to do nothing about things being tough. It encourages them to sit around and depend on the wealth earned by the producers of America. It promotes laziness and sloth.

It's money well spent for the White House. I'm sure it will buy a lot of votes come 2012.

Detroit needs a good flush.
