By Richard Russell in Dow Theory Letters:
A Republican sweep in Virginia and New Jersey tells us that the political tide is rapidly changing.
Americans have had enough of Obama and socialism. They don't want to crucify the "rich" and they don't want to live in a nation in which the government controls everything. Americans in their wisdom have "had it" with exploding deficit and debts and Bernanke's quantitative easing.
The voters are saying so. Of course, the obvious issues were unemployment and taxes (New Jersey has the highest property taxes in the nation).
