Bond King Gross: 83% in mortgage debt; short Treasuries

Pimco's Bill Gross is frontrunning the U.S. government into bond investments - betting the government's billions in support will chase up asset values. Following Geithner's announcement that he may extend protection to commercial mortgage-backed securities, Gross is loading up on mortgages. He is also short Treasuries and agency debt from Fannie and Freddie.
