There was a time when politicians like Andrew Jackson avoided debt like the plague.

In 1835, America was debt free for the first and only time. Jackson hated big government... and did an exceptional job of vetoing pork projects. Now, we simply hear lowball estimates and lies about what's actually happening with our country's finances.
